Scarce Find, and original Japanese Model 1982 BJ44 Diesel Wagon Re-moveable Hardtop Convertible.

Imported in 2012 from Tokyo Japan. Originally Medium Blue, now Painted Midnight Black 8 years ago.

Lived on a Northern California Farm. The old re-paint is showing age (cracks and bubbling), however, she runs and drives incredibly well (be sure to see videos). Just fully serviced now. Has original interior in great condition. Including a rare factory rear bench that seats 4 adults.

Powered by a late model 3.2 Liter 2B diesel (35mpg). Big Diesel, Starts first turn of the key, Exhaust is SMOKE FREE! Comes with factory Power steering, power disc brakes. All factory stock BJ44 options.

What needs work: Front floors have rust, the rear bed has rust, lower windshield has rust/ She will come with New front floor pans, New Rear Bed & replacement windshield frame is going to be provided. Small rust bubbles on body. The Paint is very faded/cracked and shows wear. We will need body restoration services to repair the floors and repaint the exterior.

Best part of this 1982 BJ44 is she is a long wheel base Metal Hardtop, she is all original and how GOOD she runs: starts, accelerates, brakes & shifts perfectly. The transmission, transfer Case & Clutch all work perfectly!
