This 1965 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 is a long-wheelbase pickup that underwent a full nut & Bolt mechanical and cosmetic restoration & full modern customization. Work included a new Crate GM Mr Goodwrench 5.7-liter LS1 V8, a five-speed manual transmission, and a twin-stick dual-range transfer case as well as refinishing the truck in silver and re-fitting the cab with bolstered buckets seats. Additional details include 17″ alloy wheels, locking hubs, air lockers, power steering, disc brakes, Hanson bumpers, a front winch, tow hooks, tubular exhaust headers, Flowmaster mufflers, and an Alpine stereo linked to aftermarket pwoer amplifiers and audio components.

The truck is finished in 3-stage silver & Clearcoat and is equipped with a Hanson front bumper with tow hooks and a Warn front winch along with side mirrors, a fold-down windshield, a drop-down tailgate, metal tie-down cleats, dual exhaust outlets, and fender-mounted turn signals. Bedliner material has been applied to the underbody and bed, and a Hanson rear bumper with tow hooks is installed. Take a close look at the gallery of photos or the body, close-up images of the paint, trim, and glass.

American Racing 17″ wheels feature black centers and polished lips and are mounted with 37×12.50″ General Grabber X3 tires. The truck rides on a lifted suspension and is equipped with locking front and rear hubs and power-assisted steering. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs.

The cab features bolstered bucket seats trimmed in gray cloth that are joined by a body-color dashboard and metal door panels. Bed-liner coating material has been applied to the floors and ceiling making it scratch resistant and water proof, and equipment includes a heater, a Tuffy locking center console, a skull shift knob, and an Alpine stereo linked to aftermarket audio components.

The three-spoke Grant GT steering wheel frames AutoMeter instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 5.7-liter LS1 is in excellent running condition and ready for any road trip. Additional equipment includes an aluminum radiator, tubular exhaust headers, Flowmaster mufflers, a Vortec engine cover, and a conical air filter.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through an NV4500 five-speed manual transmission, a twin-stick Atlas dual-range transfer case, and front and rear differentials fitted with ARB air lockers. A 23-gallon fuel cell was installed, and a Centerforce clutch is said to have been installed in 2023.
