Beautiful 1988 US Model Toyota FJ62 4 Dr Land Cruiser, AC Blows Cold Great shape

This loved 1988 US Model Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 was sold new in California and has remained registered in the state through the new owner acquisition in 2019. It is powered by a EFI Fuel Injected 4.0-liter straight-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case and is finished in white over a gray interior. The truck was reportedly repainted under previous ownership, while the front grille has been painted black, and KYB shocks and aftermarket wheels have been added. Service in the last four years is said to have included servicing the brakes as well as replacing the axle seals and front windshield.

The roof drip rails have been removed. There are minor blemishes around the body. The front grille and headlight surrounds have been painted black, and aftermarket tint has been applied to the windows. The windshield, gaskets, and chrome trim were replaced in December 2019.

Aftermarket 15″ black-finished steel wheels wear BFGoodrich All-Terrain K02 tires measuring 31×10.5″. KYB shocks have been fitted as well as an Old Man Emu steering damper. The axle seals, rear brake shoes, and drums were replaced in 2016, while the front brake pads and calipers were replaced in 2018. A walk-around video has been provided above.

The interior is upholstered in gray with striped cloth inserts on the seats and door panels along with replacement carpeting. The fittings for the air conditioning were replaced and the system was reportedly re-charged in 2017. Original dash has one age crack.

The fuel-injected 4.0L 3F-E inline-six sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic gearbox and a two-speed transfer case. The seller reports that a valve adjustment was performed, and the valve cover gasket was replaced in 2016, while the transmission fluid was changed in 2017. The January 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California from its first entry in March 1991 through its most recent entry in May 2019.
