This is an Original 1972 Husqvarna 450cc WR Cross Country

These Big Singles are getting harder to find in tact. Last raced in1980. She was then parked in a heated garage the till now.

She is out of Elsinore California. from an estate, owner passed away and left a large original Desert bike collection. I acquired her with plans of restoring it to its original beauty. But plans have changed.

As most of us remember, this one is similar look to what Steve McQueen rode in the movie “On Any Sunday”. Great collectible bike.

Power is provided by factory original 456cc two-stroke single (rated at 46 horsepower), paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, the 2.5 gal fuel tank is the original peanut chrome tank in orange (paint flaking off) with chrome knee panels over a silver single-downtube frame, . Other equipment includes alloy fenders and rims, big factory 36mm Bing carburetor, a factory high-mount expansion chamber with Spark Arrestor Silencer, a rear swing arm with Girling coil-over shocks featuring chrome shrouds and black springs, a black vinyl saddle seat, and custom leather saddle bag with emergency trail parts. She is not running currently. Still, she has great compression and just needs to be dusted off & serviced. It will not take much to get her running: fresh gas & oil, new plug, and starting fluid.

TITLE: This bike does not have a title. This Off-Road bike probably never even came with a title back in 1972.
